All of our products are handmade.

Custom order making times can vary during for reasons such as high demand and if materials are in stock - this means lead times can be 10-20 working days from your order date, which do not include weekends or bank holidays. Please anticipate that your custom order may take this time to be made and then delivered.

If a product is in stock (Ready to Ship) these are products that are available to be shipped and are premade. These items are non-customisable and labelled in the title as 'ready to ship'. We aim to despatch items that are in stock within 5 working days. Stock levels vary, items may be updated to be in stock after you place an order. Please note that items are then subject to a further delivery period depending on the courier.

Please be aware that if you order a custom made product with a product that is ready to ship they will be shipped together once the custom made items have been made for you. Please always get in touch before ordering if you have any special requirements hello@hugoandtedltd.com.

Please check our policies on returns before placing an order with us. Items that are custom made for you (for example: items with customised webbing or multiple selected colours or made to measure or personalised etc.) are non-refundable or able to be exchanged.

Always supervise dogs and puppies when wearing collars or any pet clothing

Do not leave your dog in any item of clothing unattended

For dogs who pull or wear a collar daily, we strongly recommend choosing the plastic buckle option or switching to a harness for better control

Introduce clothing gradually and ensure your dog is comfortable and calm during use

Do not force your dog to wear any product if they show signs of distress or discomfort

Regularly inspect products for signs of wear. If any part of the product appears damaged or weakened, discontinue use immediately at your own discretion

Do not allow your dog to chew or ingest parts of any of our products

No accessory (including clothing and general products) is indestructible, please always check your dog's accessories for wear and tear. 

Most of our products are machine washable. Please always check the care label on your item before washing to avoid damage.

Wash items on a gentle cycle using cold or lukewarm water.

Use mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.

Wash similar colours together to prevent colour transfer.

Turn garments inside out before washing to help preserve quality and print/design.

Drying & Care:

Do not tumble dry. Air drying is recommended for best results.

Lay flat or hang to dry in a warm, well-ventilated room.

Avoid direct heat sources such as radiators.

Do not iron unless stated on the care label. If ironing is required, use a low heat setting and avoid printed areas. Always cover with a cotton lining if you are unsure about ironing.

Please follow our measurement guide carefully to ensure the best possible fit. For made to measure products, each coat is made to the exact measurements provided at the time of ordering.

Double check all measurements before submitting your order. Made to measure products are made from tried and tested patterns that we use to make products to.

The chest should be the biggest measurement you provide for made to measure clothing.

Round up any none whole numbers to the nearest full number (for example, 17.5 inches becomes 18 inches).

Ensure 1 inch = 2.5 cm.

We use our own sizing system so measurements or sizes from other brands cannot be used as a reference. Please always refer to our measurement guide.

Measure over the fur without pulling the tape tight and allow enough room for a comfortable, wearable fit (the tape should be able to move freely). Add two fingers between the tape and body for the chest and neck measurements.

For growing puppies, please add any extra room needed for growth to the measurements you send - made to measure products are made to the sizes provided and we do not add additional allowance unless it is included in your measurements.
