- Available in a range of standard sizes to suit different breeds and shapes
Leg Sizes:
We recommend standard legs for most breeds:
- Standard legs are ideal for all other dogs. They are approximately 6-8 inches long, tapering with chest sizes.
- Short legs — ideal for Dachshunds and other short-legged breeds. Approximately 4 inches long, tapered up or down for size variations.

Legs can also be worn rolled up for added flexibility.
Measuring & Sizing Tips:
To ensure the perfect fit, please follow our measurement guide carefully. Always round up any measurements that aren’t whole numbers to the next nearest number (1 inch = 2.5 cm).
Simply Hugo and Ted jumpers are non-customisable. If you require specific sizes please see our custom made products
We create every jumper exactly to the measurements you provide—we don’t automatically add room for growth or comfort. If your dog is still growing, or if you’d like a looser fit, please add this extra room to your measurements when ordering.
Safety & Care Guidelines:
- Never leave your dog unattended while wearing clothing
- Some dogs may need time to adjust to wearing a jumper - introduce gradually with positive reinforcement
- Always check for any signs of discomfort and remove the jumper if needed
- Machine wash on a gentle cycle for best results

All of our products are handmade.
Custom order making times can vary during for reasons such as high demand and if materials are in stock - this means sometimes lead times can be 10-20 working days, which do not include weekends or bank holidays. Please anticipate that your custom order may take this time to be made and then delivered.
If a product is in stock (Simply Hugo and Ted Collection) these are products that are available to be shipped, are premade and are in stock. These items are also non-customisable. We aim to despatch items that are in stock within 5 working days. Stock levels vary, items may be updated to be in stock after you place an order. Please note that items are then subject to a further delivery period depending on the courier.
