Leg Length Options:
We offer four leg styles to help you achieve the best fit for your dog’s build:
- Tankie Legs - our standard snuggle jumper design
- Standard Legs – Suitable for most breeds; approx. 6–8 inches long (adjusted in proportion to chest size)
- Short Legs – Ideal for Dachshunds and other short-legged breeds; approx. 4 inches long (adjusted up/down depending on size)
- Long Legs – Perfect for taller or long-legged dogs; approx. 11 inches long (adjusted up/down depending on size)
Legs can also be rolled up if preferred.
Measuring & Sizing Tips:
To ensure the perfect fit, please follow our measurement guide carefully.
- Always round up any measurements that aren’t whole numbers to the next nearest number
- 1 inch = 2.5 cm
- We measure differently to other brands — if the guide is not followed, we cannot guarantee a correct fit
We make every jumper exactly to the measurements you provide.
We do NOT add extra room automatically — including for puppies.
If your dog is still growing or you’d like extra room for comfort, please add this to your measurements before ordering.
Safety & Care Guidelines:
- Never leave puppies or dogs unattended while wearing clothing
- Some dogs may need time to adjust to wearing a jumper — introduce gradually with positive reinforcement
- Remove immediately if your dog shows signs of discomfort or agitation

All of our products are handmade.
Custom order making times can vary during for reasons such as high demand and if materials are in stock - this means sometimes lead times can be 10-20 working days, which do not include weekends or bank holidays. Please anticipate that your custom order may take this time to be made and then delivered.
If a product is in stock (Simply Hugo and Ted Collection) these are products that are available to be shipped, are premade and are in stock. These items are also non-customisable. We aim to despatch items that are in stock within 5 working days. Stock levels vary, items may be updated to be in stock after you place an order. Please note that items are then subject to a further delivery period depending on the courier.

Please be aware that if you order a custom made product with a product that is from the Simply Hugo and Ted Collection they will be shipped together once the custom made items have been made for you. Always get in touch before ordering if you have any special requirements hello@hugoandtedltd.com.
Please check our policies on returns before placing an order with us. Items that are custom made for you (for example: items with customised webbing or multiple selected colours or made to measure or personalised etc) are non-refundable or able to be exchanged.
